About Kristi

Welcome! I’m Kristi Mann, and I've dedicated my life to working with dogs. Growing up surrounded by bloodhounds, I developed a passion for both showing and search-and-rescue work. Since completing grooming school in 1975, I’ve dedicated my career to caring for our furry friends. I was a professional handler at AKC Shows from 1985-1998. In 1988, I earned my IPG Master Groomer certification and opened my first grooming shop in Seattle’s Wedgwood neighborhood. I expanded to a second location on Capitol Hill in 1996 and, in 2016, opened my current shop in Bothell, where my team and I continue to spread joy through pet care.

As a proud member of the American Shih Tzu Club since 1990, I’ve had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors from 2007 to 2025 and as the Judges Education Chairman. Though Parkinson’s has sidelined me from grooming, I’m thrilled to share my knowledge with my talented staff, helping them grow and provide top-notch care for your pets. I can’t wait to welcome you and your furry companions to our shop!
